Nigeria's Unit Of Heineken Plans Board Change

Nigerian Breweries Plc said it plans to effects some changes in the composition of its board, the local unit of Heineken said on Monday.

To this end, a board meeting has been slated for Wednesday to finalise the decision of the company.
In a letter to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), the brewer said it will notify the exchange the details of the change after the meeting.
The board is currently headed by a chartered accountant and an industrialist, Kola Jamodu, who has held the position since 2008.
Nigerian Breweries currently has about 111,041 shareholders as at 30th September 2018, while its authorized share capital of 5 billion naira, divided into 10 billion shares of 0.50 naira each.
