Nigeria Recovers 609 Bln Naira Looted Fund Via Whistleblower Policy ~Finmin

Nigeria has recovered about 605 billion naira in looted fund through the implementation of the whistleblower policy.

Zainab Ahmed, finance minister said the whistleblower policy was a huge success, adding that the amount so far recovered was an improvement over the amount previously recorded. She, however, failed to give out the figure previously recovered for comparison.
“The whistleblower policy of government subsists and it is still being implemented. The total amount of collection that has been made through various efforts in the whistleblower policy is about 605 billion naira," Ahmed said.
