Yields on Nigerian Treasury bills fall at auction

Yields on Nigerian treasury bills edged down at an auction at which the central bank sold 94.26 billion naira ($594 million) worth of debt, central bank data showed on Friday.
The central bank sold 32.88 billion naira worth of 91-day bills, 30 billion naira of 182-day treasury bills and 31.38 billion naira of 364-day paper at the auction, which was held on Wednesday.
The return on the 91-day paper fell to 10.80 percent from 10.88 percent at the previous, Oct. 10 auction, the 182-day note was sold at 11.58 percent compared with 11.69 percent previously, while the 364-day debt note was sold at 11.70 percent, down from 11.74 percent at the Oct. 10 sale.
Total subscription stood at 191.12 billion naira, compared with 250.55 billion at the last auction
