PM's kidnap won't change Eni stance on Libya - CEO

Eni will not change its stance on Libya in response to Thursday's kidnapping of Prime Minister Ali Zeidan, the Italian energy group's chief executive said on Thursday.

Eni CEO, Scaroni
Asked about Zeidan's capture, Eni Chief executive Paolo Scaroni said "This will not change our general attitude," adding that he "remains optimistic".
"Of course we are worried about Libya. To rebuild a constitution after 40 years of dictatorship is not very easy," Scaroni said on the sidelines of a conference in Brussels.
On Thursday Libyan gunmen seized the prime minister and held him for several hours.
