This year, the governor said 462.76 billion naira, representing 54 percent of the total outlay would be spent on capital projects, while 389.56 billion naira representing 46 percent would be spent on recurrent expenditure.
Ambode said that the budget was projected to consolidate on the economic gains made so far by capitalising on realistic, budget friendly programmes and projects.
In his remarks, the Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, commended well-meaning Lagosians for ensuring peace reign supreme between the two arms of government over the impasse between the legislature and executive on the 2019 budget.
