The central bank said on Friday it would issue short-dated treasury bills on June 18 to raise 168.3 billion naira ($1.03 bln), part of a debt issuance programme it announced this week.
The bank plans to raise 33.26 billion naira in 3-month bills, 65.02 billion naira in 6-month, and 70 billion of one-year notes, using a reverse Dutch auction system.
Nigeria intends to raise 936.9 billion naira ($5.76 billion) through treasury bills over the next three months, according to a debt issuance calendar published by the bank on Tuesday.
